Tips
Use breathable bags for clothes and bedding inside, and add a sachet of naphthalene or neem to keep insects away. Box storage beds work best with lighter mattresses that are easy to lift.

Box storage or hydraulic storage: what's the difference?
Box storage beds have lift-up panels you open in sections. Hydraulic beds lift the whole mattress platform on gas pistons, giving full access with less effort.
Do storage beds need a special mattress?
No, any mattress works. Keep the mattress under about 8 inches thick for hydraulic beds so the pistons lift it easily.
