Upholstery for more than sofas
Upholstery is the craft of padding and covering furniture: foam, wadding and fabric fitted tightly over a frame. Beyond sofas, it gives a new life to headboards, dining chairs, office chairs, stools, benches and antique pieces, and creates soft padded wall panels behind beds. Our upholsterers work in the Narsingi workshop alongside the carpenters, so a job that needs both frame repair and new fabric is handled in one place.
Upholstery work we do
- Headboards and bed backrests: re-covering existing headboards, or making new padded, channel-tufted and button-tufted headboards. One customer review mentions a bed customised "with my own upholstery design along with selected fabrics".
- Dining chair seats: new foam and fabric for worn or stained seats, usually done as a set.
- Office chairs: seat and back re-upholstery with new foam.
- Cushions: custom seat cushions, floor cushions and cushion covers.
