Storage that fits the way you live
Most Hyderabad apartments have less storage than their families need. The answer is usually furniture built for the space: a wardrobe that uses the full wall height, a shoe cabinet that fits the entrance, a bookshelf that fills an alcove. Furniture House makes storage to measure, and supplies ready steel almirahs and shoe racks.

Plan the inside, not just the outside
- Hanging space: about 100 cm high for shirts, 150 cm for long clothes and sarees.
- Shelves: 30–35 cm apart for folded clothes.
- Drawers: for small items and innerwear; add a locker drawer for valuables.
- Top lofts: use the space up to the ceiling for suitcases and seasonal items.
- Depth: 55–60 cm lets hangers sit sideways.
Other storage
Shoe racks, bookshelves, chests of drawers and crockery units can all be made to your measurements.

Steel almirahs are strong, termite-proof and have built-in lockers. Wooden wardrobes look better in bedrooms and can be built to any size.
