One piece, two jobs
A sofa cum bed (sofa bed) gives you seating by day and a bed for guests by night, which makes it the most useful piece in a 1BHK, a studio, a home office or a guest room that doubles as something else. In Hyderabad, where families often host visiting relatives, it saves buying a second bed that sits unused most of the year.

Measuring for a sofa cum bed
Check two sizes: the sofa footprint, and the open bed length (usually around 185–195 cm). Make sure there's floor space in front of the sofa when it opens, including room to walk around the bed.
What makes a sofa bed comfortable
Comfort depends on the foam. A good sofa cum bed uses firm, high-density foam for the sleeping surface so you don't feel joins or the frame. For daily sleeping, we recommend the pull-out type or adding a thin mattress topper.
