Small tables, big convenience
A side table beside the sofa holds a cup of tea, a lamp or a phone within reach; a bedside table keeps your glass of water, glasses and alarm close at night. They're small, but rooms feel incomplete without them.
Getting the height right
- Sofa side table: level with or slightly below the sofa arm.
- Bedside table: level with the top of the mattress, or within 5 cm of it.
Bedside table features
- A drawer for small items and a lower shelf or cabinet for books.
- A cut-out for charger cables.
- Rounded corners if space between bed and wall is tight.
- Floating (wall-mounted) bedside tables for small bedrooms.
