Foam mattress basics
Foam mattresses are lighter than cotton, easy to handle and come in a wide range of feels. The key number is density: higher-density foam lasts longer and sags less.
Types of foam

Foam or cotton?
Foam is lighter and doesn't need turning or sunning, but it can trap heat and cannot be refilled. Cotton breathes better in Hyderabad's heat and can be renewed. Many people choose a firm foam core with a cotton or fabric top. See cotton mattresses.
