Design considerations
- Counter height: about 105–110 cm for standing visitors; work surface about 75 cm.
- Accessibility: a lowered section for wheelchair users.
- Shape: straight, L-shaped or curved, depending on the lobby.
- Storage: lockable drawers and shelves for files, parcels and supplies.
- Branding: a logo panel, backlit letters or a contrasting front panel.
- Cables: concealed routing for computer, phone and card machine.
