Cotton pillows and bolsters, made the traditional way
Cotton-filled pillows and bolsters (takiyas) are firmer and cooler than polyester pillows, and like cotton mattresses they can be refilled when they go flat. We make them in our Narsingi workshop alongside our cotton mattresses, in standard and custom sizes.

- Bolsters (takiyas) for beds, diwans and floor seating, round or long.
- Floor cushions and back cushions for majlis and floor seating.
- Covers in printed or plain fabric, including matching sets.
Refilling old pillows
Flat cotton pillows and bolsters are opened, the cotton cleaned and carded to restore its loft, topped up and re-stitched. It's an easy way to renew a full set for the cost of a few new ones.
Firm or soft?
Side sleepers usually prefer a thicker, firmer pillow to fill the gap between shoulder and head; back sleepers a medium one; stomach sleepers a thin, soft one. Tell us how you sleep and we'll fill accordingly. You can also see our ready cotton pillows and bolsters.
